About Lincoln

The Lincoln loop explores the hills, valleys and small communities south and east of Lincoln.

After rolling through Suttle and into Lincoln, the route drops quickly down winding Bush Valley Road toward Clyde. Four Corner Road then delivers the hardest climbing of the day, with double-digit pitches as the road works across the rugged country south of Cane Hill Mountain.

From the ridge, the route drops toward Cove Creek before turning north through the Hogeye countryside.

It is a constantly changing loop of wooded climbs, fast descents, open valleys and quiet western Washington County roads.

Notes

  • Refueling: Gas station stops are available in Prairie Grove and Lincoln
  • Bush Valley: Descending along Bush Valley Road (shortly after the store stop in Lincoln) is excellent, especially in the fall.
  • Four Corner: When riding clockwise, take extra caution when descending Four Corner Road as there's a 90-degree turn at the bottom.

Note: Routes are provided for planning purposes. Road conditions, traffic and access can change. Ride within your abilities and verify current conditions before leaving.
