About Broken Tooth & Harris
Broken Tooth & Harris teaches two useful ways to move between Black Oak Road and Elkins, helping connect Fayetteville’s southern and eastern riding networks.
One option uses Harris Drive for a flat, more direct approach. The other heads through Sulphur City and North Whitehouse Road, where Broken Tooth delivers a steep, punchy climb from either direction.
The core loop includes both so riders can learn how they fit together, then use either one later as part of longer routes across the east and south sides of the network.
Notes
- Refueling: There are no stops on the core loop, but a quick detour on Stokenbury Road from Lacy offers a gas station in Elkins.
- Harris intersection: Harris Road will sneak up on you if approaching from the Black Oak descent, so stay alert, slow down and don't miss your turn.
